Hospice staff
As someone who had the privilege and skills to be about to care for my own mother through a terminal illness, I can understand the need for and benefit of the loving, skilled care a hospice gives. At my request, my GP kindly prescribed according to a hospice regime - which I had to research! In those days hospice regimes were not widely known and she would otherwise have been prescribed Bromptons' Cocktail. The result was that I 'had my Mum' until the end. She was even able to correct the abysmal spelling and discuss the contents of the coursework I was doing at the time. As she had nursed my father through a terminal illness many years before, it was fitting she had similar love and care.
